The gallery fell quiet as the late afternoon light hit the large canvas. Up close, Tilen Žbona’s abstract work seemed to pulse with kinetic energy, a pure, unfiltered dialogue of color, texture, and form.

Thick layers of plaster and dark pearl strokes carved dynamic paths across the surface, sweeping into raw fields of pigment. Free from of abstract composition relied entirely on movement, contrast, and depth. You could feel the weight of every physical layer, guided by a Venetian-trained intuition that held the chaotic, energetic gestures in quiet, breathless harmony.

In that space, the painting didn't need to represent anything else; its pure abstract presence alone filled the room.
